| All new employees will receive a Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP)
information packet. |
| New employees will be informed where they can find a
copy of the Grand Rapids School District Exposure Control Plan in their
building. |
| All at risk employees or any employee can ask their
building nurse for a spill kit containing Band-Aids, gloves and wipes.
You must ask to receive this. If you are unsure if you are an "at
risk" employee, contact your building nurse. |
| Employees must defer cleanup of body fluids to personnel
trained to do so. (Protect yourself and others by avoiding the
area or covering the fluids with paper) Janitorial Staff will
clean up all body fluids |
| If you have any questions, contact the building nurse
listed on your training form or Angela Elhard, PHN, LSN or ECO before
signing the Acknowledgment of Training. |
| All employees are required to read the following items,
take the quiz, print and sign the Acknowledgement of Training annually. |
